Welcome to my winter reading list!
I’m so excited to share some of the great books I’ll be reading this season. From thrillers to romances, there’s something for everyone on my list. I hope you enjoy these reads as much as I do! So curl up with a blanket and a cup of hot cocoa, and enjoy these great reads!
Nancy Drew
One of my big ongoing projects is reading all of the Nancy Drew books, so these are the first priorities this season. I’ve read the first books in the two Nancy Drew series im targeting, so this season will be books 2 & 3 (The Hidden Staircase & The Bungalow Mystery) from the original series and book 2 from Nancy Drew Diaries (Strangers on a Train).
Agatha Christie
Another of my big projects I’m starting is to read all of the Agatha Christie books. I’m starting from the beginning and reading or reading all of them. I plan on focusing on 3 books: The Murder at the Vicarage, The Mysterious Affair at Styles, and The Sittaford Mystery.
Classics
I have two big classics challenges on my blog: The Best Mysteries of All Time list and The World’s Best Reading Series. After looking at the lists, I’ve decided on The Moonstone, The Spy That Came In From The Cold and Sense and Sensibility. I was thinking hard at Wuthering Heights…but maybe next time… :/
Cozy Mysteries
We all know my favorite books are cozies so I have a few regular cozies and a few christmas cozies. On the regular side i have Murder at North Pond, Murder at the Lakeside Library and Bear Witness. These have been on my list forever, soo excited to get to them.
Specifically Christmas
On the christmas side, i have Death at Holly Lodge, Murder for Christmas and It Came Upon A Midnight Shear. I haven’t really read anything by any of these authors…they just looked so festive…i was drawn in.
Others
And the Others! A few historical books and a thriller. I had so many ideas, but i figured i’d just start with these three: The Department of Rare Books and Special Collections, The Librarian Spy and One by One.

I think a Nancy Drew read thru would be fun. I did that with a few of the Hardy Boys too. and I really liked Murder for Christmas. I read that one last year I think. It definitely made me want to read more Mordecai Tremayne
